The Art of the Sale: Developing Website Content

There was a time in the Province of Ontario, when you couldn't show people drinking beer in a television commercial. In fact, you couldn't even show the bottle; about the only beer-related item you could show was the label. So advertisers were forced to concentrate on attractive young people having a good time. The beer was never seen, only implied.
You would think this restriction would have been a major impediment to selling beer, but because advertisers were forced to sell the psychological benefit rather than the conventional features, they by necessity, had to concentrate on the emotional hotspot, thereby establishing the brand's true value to consumers.
The government of the day in it's puritanical silliness, actually helped the beer companies find better ways to sell more beer than they would otherwise have found left on their own.
What's your psychological hotspot?
The Web is not all that different; it's not that there is anything in particular that you can't show, it's just that there are many things that when shown as they are, just don't capture the spirit of the product. Sandpaper is not about abrasive characteristics, it's about beautiful furniture or a new family room; board games aren't about cardboard pieces, they're about having a good time with family and friends; and cosmetics are not about this years trendy colors, or botanical elixirs, they're about simply making yourself as appealing as possible.
This fundamental fact, should be at the heart of any website content development initiative. No matter what you sell, a product, a service, and even an idea, it's the psychological benefit and the emotional hotspot that will make or break your Web presentation.
An Exercise in Creative Thinking
Take a piece of paper that's blank on both sides. On one side write down all of the features and benefits you normally present when selling a client. On the other side of the paper write down what psychological value or emotional benefit each of these features actually represents.
Now you decide, which side of the paper makes for a more powerful, memory inducing presentation, the features themselves, or what the features actually mean to your clients?
What business are you really in?
The same exercise can be used for the company as a whole. On one side of the paper list all the things you do for clients, then on the other side, list how these services or products actually affect your clients' psychological frame-of-mind or emotional wellbeing. For example, Michelin manufacturers tires, but they're really in the safety business: tread design, rubber compounds, and manufacturing techniques are all merely things that make for a safer trip in the family car.
What's the purpose of your website?
Every company has a website, they have become as ubiquitous and commonplace as a phonebook listing or business card.
Some companies spend a fortune on the latest trendy Web-technologies without ever thinking about what purpose it all serves. Other companies spend next to nothing because they really have no idea why they even need a website; they have one because everyone else has one.
If your website doesn't have a purpose, you will never be able to develop appropriate content, and without appropriate content it doesn't matter what your website looks like, or what trendy development techniques you employ.
The questions you need to ask yourself are why do I have a website; what purpose does it serve, and what do we expect to achieve? Only after you've answered these questions can you develop appropriate content for your site.
Sales are based on trust, not prices.
If you think the only purpose a website should have is to sell stuff, then you're never going to develop a successful long-term Web-business. Websites should not be treated as zero sum games where whatever you gain is offset by whatever someone else looses.
If you're not a conman, don't act like one.
The other day I was searching for an expensive piece of equipment. I found a website that sold what we needed. It was your standard catalogue site with little or no information about the company, what it stood for, or who was responsible for what.
Once I saw the extremely low prices they were charging, sirens started to go off in my head. The first thing I did was look for an address but none was listed, then I tried to phone but was left on hold for about ten minutes, finally I did a search for the company, and what I came up with was not surprising. This company had as foul a reputation as any I have heard about.
You better understand why people buy.
A website is a communication vehicle, and communicating means more than a picture, a price, and an order button. If sales are what you're all about, you better understand why people buy particular products and services from specific sellers.
Increased sales are the result of investing in building strong business relationships. Your website can help you do that by imparting knowledge, building trust, establishing personality, and emphasizing emotional and psychological value: all the ingredients needed to give your company a competitive advantage.
What do visitors remember about you?
If your website is designed with the sole purpose of selling visitors without any further contact with your company, chances are, you're only going to close a small percentage of site traffic. Understanding that the sale-to-traffic ratio is small, you no doubt spent a considerable amount of time and money attracting as many visitors as possible. Therefore, for every visitor that leaves without purchasing, you've suffered a net loss from your marketing investment.
But what if you adopt a more liberal attitude toward your marketing purpose. Instead of ignoring and perhaps even shunning those that don't buy, let's say you give them something to remember, something to experience, something to bring them back to you when they are ready to buy. By doing so, you've maximized your investment in generating site traffic, and you've given yourself an opportunity to ultimately take advantage of their interest and attraction to your website.
How do you turn your site into a memorable experience?
There is often reluctance on the part of business owners to invest in things that can't be tied directly to their bottom line, but failure to understand the broader implications of marketing as a indirect sales tool, will ultimately cripple sales efforts.
There is no secret scientific formula, or computer model that will make your business a success; just a realization that sales are a function of trust, understanding, and an acknowledgement of the psychological and emotional value of what you sell. Build your website content and presentation around these factors and you will maximize the benefit of your investment in attracting an interested audience.

SEO Copy Writing

Search engine optimization or SEO copy writing is the act of creating compelling copy that is not only enticing for your visitors, but that also makes your site more highly visible to the search engines so visitors can find you in the first place.
What is SEO Copy Writing?
Websites that contain SEO content often appear much higher in search engine results listings so that new visitors are more easily able to find your website based on your chosen keywords.
Focusing on producing great copy writing instead of just supplying basic content means that you're not only helping to increase your site's popularity, but you also need to be sure your content appeals to visitors so that they'll either be more likely to buy the product you're recommending or they'll feel comfortable in signing up for your mailing list.
How Can SEO Copy Writing Help Me?
Wise internet marketers understand the effect the good SEO copy writing can have on their overall sales figures. Marketing your web site is one of the bigger challenges newer internet marketers face, so it makes sense to learn tactics that make your own marketing efforts easier.
What SEO Copy Writing Tips Bring the Best Results?
While there are many different copy writing tactics that all have their place in an effective internet marketing campaign, below are some quick tips that will help your sales pages or squeeze pages receive better search results much faster.
- Title
At the top of your browser you should see the title of the website you're viewing. If the website owner is wise, the title will include one or more targeted keywords that potential visitors will be searching for.
- Keywords
You should take some time to choose pertinent keywords that not only describe what your site is about, but they should also be the keywords people will be searching for to find your site. Search engines rank search results in order of relevance to the search term people type in, so be sure your keywords match your niche topic as closely as possible.
Don't make the mistake of over-stuffing your SEO copy writing with too many keywords, though. This has the opposite effect and can actually damage your efforts.
- Niche Definition
Be sure you don't spread your keywords across too broad an area. For example, if your site is about gardening, then narrow down your specific specialty to highlight what visitors will learn when they visit. You could specify your niche as 'low maintenance gardening' or 'rose gardening'.
- Compelling Copy
People don't visit websites unless they're specifically seeking information or a solution to a problem. Your SEO efforts need to focus on more than just being found my search engines - they need to appeal to visitors quickly enough to keep their interest so they don't click away.
SEO Copy Writing Benefits
Learning how to effectively optimize your website can not only increase your sales conversions, but you can also increase visitor retention numbers. Your copy should be interesting enough to allow visitors to feel comfortable in signing up for your opt-in mailing list so you can promote further opportunities to your subscribers at a later date. You'll also make your marketing efforts much easier in the long run.
Of course you won't know if your efforts are working or not without accurate monitoring and tracking software, so be sure to invest into systems that allow you to track the effect your changes are having on overall visitor numbers and sales. Understanding how your opt-in subscriber rates correlate to the increases in your overall sales numbers gives you a massive advantage over your competitors.

Factors That Do Not Affect Your Rank In Search Engines

Search Engine spiders are not very sophisticated. They like simple and easy-to-read HTML. Most search engines spider software was written back when virtually all Web sites had grey backgrounds, almost no graphics, and lots of text. Remarkably, search engine spiders still favor Web sites that are just that simple. Web design has left the spider behind. Since humans are bound to use the latest and most complicated technology, whether warranted or not, many Web sites are built without any consideration for how they will fare in search engines.
While they will visit your Web site and capture every element, there are many page elements they they cannot interpret. Therefore, if your targeted keyword phrases are contained in any of these elements, you should consider moving them into other parts of the HTML so that they will have a chance to be read by the search engine's spider and ultimately returned by the search engines in response to a keyword query. In general, if you cannot highlight it on the page, the search engine cannot read it.
The following are page elements that will not be read by or considered by the search engines. That is not to say that these page elements can be used with reckless abandon...these are to be considered in general sense, not specifically. For every rule, there is an exception, and exceptions abound.
Keywords Contained in Graphics
Flash is a particular problem, as are most "gee whiz" new technologies. Search engines cannot read or recognize the text contained in a graphic image. All they see is a bunch of http://picture.jpg or graphic.gif files. If your site is graphic intensive and much of the copy is contained in an image, you have a serious SEP problem. There may be nothing for the search engine to index on your page.
Keywords in JavaScript
Search engines cannot optically recognize text. Even if you have coded a JavaScript to produce a long sentence full of keywords to scroll across you Web page, the search engines likely can't read any of those words. In fact, search engines seem to all but ignore the JavaScript contained in HTML documents. If your keywords are contained in a graphic, they will not be read or considered by the search engines. Keyword contained in a graphic are fine for directories whose human editors will read and consider them. Search engine spiders see only the file-name of the graphic, not its textual content, if any.
Frames and Tables
Frames are problematic, as are nested tables, but page design mostly impacts keyword prominence. When your page design includes Flash and other cutting-edge design elements, it can impact your site's ability to be index by search engines.
The bottom line. Search engines can only index HTML text and follow hyperlinks between Web pages, and there are only so many places where keywords can be included within a Web site. Where, how often, and how early your keywords are placed will determine your ranking. Remember these variables when you are analyzing other Web sites that have ranked higher than yours. Look at it like a puzzle, not some magic bullet or immeasurable force.

Get The Most Out Of Your SEO Professional

Many businesses go through all kinds of steps before hiring a search engine optimization professional. Unfortunately, they often then sabotage that person from the outset.
As a person providing seo services, I can tell you there is one area that is almost always a point of conflict with clients. This area has to do with communication, particularly from the client to the person or business handling the seo campaign.
Many businesses sabotage their seo professional right from the start of the game. It all has to do with knowledge. A seo professional is very knowledgeable about the search engine ranking process. He or she can tell you oodles of information about algorithms, back links, inbound links, keyword density and other issues you probably are not particularly interested in. On the other hand, it is a mistake to assume your seo wizard is knowledgeable about your product or service area.
Any business has a secret bit of crucial knowledge locked away in the minds of a few individuals high up in the company. This knowledge is protected with great effort since it is deemed to be the key to success for the business. Although each business is different, this nugget usually has to do with why prospects purchase the product or service being offered by the business. If you do not provide this information to your seo professional, problems will arise.
Consider the following situation. A seo firm is retained by a client selling products. The seo rep asks all kinds of questions about the typical customer for the business, product lines and so on. From this, a keyword list is developed and the client is asked to review it and make any comments about any additions they can think of. The business reports no changes. A year down the line, the client has top rankings on dozens of high traffic keywords on Google, Yahoo and MSN, but sales are less than expected.
At this point, there is usually a serious meeting with the players to try to figure out what is going on. During the meeting, some little tidbit is mentioned that makes the seo professional groan. The tidbit is inevitably internal business information regarding why prospects purchase from the business.
In our example above, the business sold products in the active lifestyle industry. Top rankings were obtained on all the relevant subjects. Sales were crap. During the serious, serious meeting, it was leaked that 8 out of 10 purchasers asked for the product to be gift wrapped! ARRRRRGGGG! The seo campaign was tailored to people interested in active lifestyles, not people that were looking to buy gifts for such people. Our sales were terrible because the listings were appearing in front of the wrong audience!
Yes, this really happened. Fortunately, keyword modifications were made and the site rebounded in the rankings after a few months. Whereas the site previously converted at 1 in 1,000, it now converts at 1 in 30. The next meeting was much more informal. In fact, there were plenty of beverages and I took the next day off.
If you are going to retain someone to handle your seo efforts, or any marketing for you, do not hold back information. Understanding who and why people buy is a pivotal part of developing a keyword list for a seo campaign

Productive Methods To Keep Retention & Build Community In Your Network Marketing Business

For those of us who choose to study proper marketing techniques as our source of education in Network Marketing, having a sense of community is essential for success. We don't travel every month to company sponsored trainings that teach the same outdated techniques over and over, and we don't participate in online business systems or follow the latest fads to generate business. Like everything else that comes with being a leader, we have to rely on ourselves.
Having a sense of community helps you keep your head in the game, and gives you a chance to inspire and be inspired by others who have the same goals as you. When most network marketing companies emphasize their trainings, what they are really doing is promoting their company by providing an outlet for its distributors to gather and socialize. It can get expensive, especially when the techniques they usually teach aren't helping you grow a powerful business.
The alternative is to create situations on your own to promote community and keep the retention of your peers and distributors. Here are a few successful ways to accomplish this without spending lots of money.
Share Inexpensive Leads With Your Downline
Anyone who has received proper marketing education knows that all leads stink, but they are necessary to help you build a solid skill set for talking on the telephone. The problem in the past for me was that I used to spend a lot of money for leads that I was told were "fresh" and of good "quality." I spent a lot of money to learn that these kinds of leads simply do not exist, and that I can get my own set of leads for pennies compared to what my upline was offering to me.
One great way to interact with others is to go in on a set of leads and hold phone briefings to discuss your results. Not only will this cut your costs even more, but everyone can benefit by the stories you share. The whole point of leads is to build a skill set while you zero in on your target audience. Having others working with you will speed up the process and in turn accelerate everyone's business at the same time.
E-mail Promotions
If you haven't already noticed, e-mail is a much faster and inexpensive way to communicate the written word than sending packages and letters through the U.S. Postal Service. Mostly everyone has a computer these days, especially if you own and operate a home-based business. Building excitement through the use of promotions has never been easier. You can inspire everyone you know with the push of a button and you don't even have to open your mouth to say anything.
I was always excited when I heard about the latest promotion my company offered, but after I changed my way of thinking and found quality education specifically designed for network marketers, it was up to me as a leader to do the offering.
After much trial and error, I found that point systems work very well. Run small promotions to get your distributors to do just a little more than they usually do. They will feel a sense of accomplishment because smaller goals are attainable and they will stretch to reach them. Always putting big goals out there that only one or two people can reach can split apart your group and make people think they aren't progressing if they always fall short.
Magazine Subscriptions
A great way to build a sense of community is to encourage people to subscribe to magazines and have discussion groups about them. First, they should choose a magazine they like that has no relation to building a business. Everyone has a hobby that they enjoy doing without the concern of making money. This is important because it allows people to reveal and discuss their interests outside of "working" so others can get to know them.
They should also subscribe a magazine that relates to business, specifically the products they endorse. You can learn a lot from the ads people place and they way they are worded, not to mention the many articles that offer ideas written by peers and other successful people in the same field of interest. Think of it like a "book of the month" club but with an emphasis on helping others with your insight and wisdom.
The point to building a community on your own is to improve your business without the help of your parent company, but that doesn't mean you have to alienate them either. Just compliment what they do. Attend their annual trainings if you like being around the people and the excitement. Just remember to treat it like a social gathering and not an educational experience. That's usually why they promote them in the first place.

Consistency Is Key In The PPC Conversion Process

Let me enlighten you about something you might not have considered. Ultimate conversions from pay-per-click (PPC) ads come from a process, not a single event. Oftentimes, online marketers focus on the effects of PPC copywriting and the click-through rate it achieves. That click-through rate is thought of as the end-all, be-all for the campaign. But, the overall goal of PPC copywriting is not to get people to click to your site. Clicking a PPC ad is merely step one. The ultimate goal is to get visitors to take action once they reach your site.
Consistency is a vital attribute to successful PPC campaigns. Including the same keyphrases you target in the PPC copywriting throughout the rest of the steps in the conversion process can make or break your end results. This really shouldn't be surprising, however. After all, it's not a new development.
For decades, offline marketers have known that consistency was the key to profitable multimedia campaigns. For instance, if you developed a promotion for mouthwash that included direct mail, magazine, television and newspaper, then you'd want the message to be consistent from medium to medium. Offline marketers proved long ago that a single, repetitive voice where one medium interacts with and/or reinforces another brought about the best results. Let's look at an example.
For our fictitious mouthwash (we'll call it Fresh Breath), a campaign might start with television ads that show smiling people going through their morning routines including swishing Fresh Breath after brushing. A slogan or tag line could be used to help people associate a core message with the product. The voiceover might also say something like, "Look for money-saving coupons in this Sunday's newspaper." Great! We've got their attention and offered something (coupon) that can pique interest.
Next, we move on to print. The newspaper coupon insert will feature a full-color layout with the same smiling face, the tag line and $1.00 off the customer's next purchase. But, what about people who don't get the newspaper? We'll cover them in magazine ads that feature a duplicate message. You might also consider sending out samples and coupons via direct mail, too.
Do you see what's happening? Consistency is foremost in the campaign. Everywhere the customer looks, s/he sees the same core message about Fresh Breath and relates her or his opinions with this message. The same should be true with your PPC campaigns.
PPC Copywriting Starts the Process
All a PPC ad consists of is copy. VERY short copy. That means using successful methods to develop your PPC copywriting is a vital first step. Blow this part and the rest won't even get a snowball's chance to prosper because the visitor will never make it past Yahoo! or Google's search results page.
Think about your core message. Develop headlines that attract visitors and pique curiosity, so they'll want to click for more information. Don't try to close the sale with your PPC ads. That's not their purpose. The sole purpose of PPC ads is to drive visitors to your site where they can collect enough information to take action, whether that means buying, subscribing, joining or whatnot.
When you write PPC ads, include the keyphrase in the headline, if possible. If not, then you'll want to incorporate the keyphrase into the body copy. Remember the tag line or slogan used in offline marketing? The keyphrase you choose for this ad will act as your tag line and will follow your copywriting efforts throughout the entire conversion process.
Consistency During Every Step
When developing your landing page (the page visitors will land on after they click the link in your PPC ad), use a headline that matches or is extremely similar to the copy in your PPC ad. Experiments have proven time and time again that the closer in content the two headlines are, the longer visitors will stay on your landing page.
But, don't stop there. If your sales channel is a multi-step process, then you'll want to continue use of the keyphrase all the way to the end. Let's look at an example using a Magnavox HDTV.
The PPC copywriting might include the keyphrase "Magnavox HDTV." The headline could read:
Save $$ on Magnavox HDTV
The two lines of copy might read:
All 26”-42" HDTV models now on sale-30% off. Free shipping over $200.
Anyone who types the keyphrase "Magnavox HDTV" into a search field will quickly be drawn to this ad because it includes the very item they were looking for… Magnavox HDTVs. In addition, the copy piques interest. All 26"-42" models are on sale for 30% off. And, I get free shipping. Great! I'd be clicking over in a heartbeat to see what was available.
But, what happens if I, the customer, land on your home page where I find dozens of DVD players and iPods and stereos? Huh? Where are the Magnavox HDTVs I was just reading about? I'd be lost. I'd likely click back to the search-results page and select another ad.
When I land on a page after clicking a PPC ad that specifically mentioned the very item I wanted, I expect to see a selection of Magnavox 26"-42" HDTVs. What's more, I'll need to actually read the phrase "Magnavox HDTV" to ensure me that I'm in the right place. Consistency.
And, when I click the 36" model I think I want? What then? I'll expect to see "Magnavox 36" HDTV" on the product description page, so I can continue to know I'm in the right place. Consistency.
When I add the item to my cart? Right… same keyphrase. And, when I check out? Yep! And, when you email me my order confirmation? You got it! Consistency, consistency, consistency.
Don't stop with your PPC copywriting. It's simply not enough. That's a tragic mistake most online marketers make. You have to convey a uniform message all the way from beginning to end to get the highest conversion rates possible from your PPC campaign. When you do, your sales will flow in with more… consistency!

Corporate Branding Vs. Personal Branding

Personal branding is all about you. It is something that any of us can relate to because it is what other people see as a reflection of our identity and values.
Hence, each and every one of us has a personal brand whether we like it or not. The issue now is whether you can sustain your own personal brand to create a clear and memorable impact of who you are, what you do and what you stand for.
Whether you are a sole proprietor, a conglomerate and Fortune 500 Company, or even a company executive, it is essential that you have your personal branding that would make you recognizable to your target audience. It helps you to build that powerful personality that has a positive impact to your audience whenever they think of your brand.
Your personal branding is a combination of different factors. This includes your values, traditions, capabilities and actions that you believe in. It is what makes you different and unique from the rest of your competition. The important thing with personal branding is you. It may be in your color printing ads or even in your business cards – the bottom line is to make your personal brand ubiquitous in everything that you do.
One advantage of having personal branding for your business is that it creates that personal element in your marketing campaign. People would recognize the various benefits of your product as truly yours which can help you stand out amongst the crowd.
On the other hand, corporate branding is a great tool in order that the name of your company will be recognized. You can do this by applying it to your product’s brand name. What you do is to include your company’s name in the name of your products and services. This way, your company would be remembered along with your product.
What makes corporate branding beneficial to your business is that it saves you money and time when it comes to your marketing campaign. Since it is your company name that is used for your products, one advertising campaign done by an experienced commercial printing agency is enough for many of your product offerings.
One disadvantage though with corporate branding – your target audience may have a hard time treating your products and services on the basis of individuality. Instead of focusing on the product’s unique features, your target clients would most likely be concentrating on your name because that’s what they’ve been exposed to.
Another drawback is that corporate branding can confuse your customers from what is the name of your company with that of your product. Your company’s name is interchangeable with your product that your clients and prospects may have a hard time distinguishing the two elements. This then leads to your business losing that ‘trademark protection’ and making you a generic product or service.
So which one do you think would be most beneficial for you? Whatever you choose, just remember to select what would help you create a positive image to your clients and prospects. And the rest will follow.

Top Methods For Getting Targeted Website Traffic

In order to make sales online, you need to receive targeted website traffic. While all traffic can potentially lead to sales, it's targeted website traffic that will bring you the most money. If you're selling musical instruments, for instance, then your targeted traffic ought to be people interested in making music.
There are many ways to get targeted website traffic. Some will cost you money while others are for free. All you need is a good strategy, a positive attitude, determination, and maybe even a bit of patience. Whether you plan on getting your targeted website traffic to come in through search engines, links from other websites, article marketing, social networking, etc., you need to develop a strategy and stick with it.
If you have enough money to spare, then you can buy advertising space on a site similar to yours, but more popular. The investment can well be worth it, especially if the site has a page ranking of at least five or six. Not only will your ad be seen by many people, but they will be targeted. Having your page linked to a similar website with a higher page rank than your own will also increase yours.
If you want to develop your site with search engine optimization, then prepare for some hard work. Article writing and SEO go well together. You need to write several articles a week with keyword density at around 2% - 4%. Make sure all of your articles are well written and interesting. While you're at it, you should add a lot of good metatags to your website as well. If you're uncertain about what keywords to use, there are plenty of SEO professionals that will help you.
One great, fun, and free way to get targeted website traffic is by becoming involved with social networking. Many social media sites, such as YouTube, MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, and Stumbled Upon are great places for webmasters to interact with potential customers. If you create an interesting profile and make updates to it daily, you can meet a lot of people with similar interests. You'd be surprised at the number of webmasters receiving targeted website traffic daily through these websites.
While you're at it, join forums about your niche. Interact with others and put in your two cents about everything. You can have your website as your signature. There's no need to outright spam; you can get targeted website traffic by just proving your worth as an expert. People will read your posts, find them interesting, and decide to visit your website.
And one of the ways to get targeted website traffic fast is to use pay per click marketing. Just be careful and be sure to study up on the ppc marketing methods before jumping in full steam. There have been many, myself included, that have lost quite a bit of money by jumping in too fast. However, don't let that discourage you because when used correctly, ppc's can bring you a lot of targeted traffic fast.
These are some of the most popular strategies for getting targeted website traffic. Choose at least two or three of these methods and stick with them. Don't give up. Spend at least an hour or two a day working with these methods, and you will receive all the targeted website traffic you need!

Network Marketing Tools Are You Using Technology to Build Your Home Business?

In today's unstable job market, more and more people are starting their own home business. Most people know that Network Marketing is usually the easiest and most cost effective way to get started.
Before I talk about using technology as your primary marketing tool, I want to give you an overview of the MLM industry and how it is failing most new marketers hoping for success.
Network marketing today is going through a major transformation because of the internet and the technology. The problem is that many traditional network marketers and MLM companies are still doing it the same way they did 20 years ago.
Unfortunately, they are still providing newcomers the same outdated marketing tools. This why the failure rate is still so high. This is why so many people are still struggling to make any money working from home. But, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
Over the past several years the internet and network marketing have collided head on and the people that are getting on board are seeing great results faster than the 95% of people still slugging it out in the trenches of old school thinking.
Let me ask you this. What do you think is more efficient and effective? The traditional way of calling friends and family, approaching complete strangers at shopping malls, cold calling uninterested prospects and relying on your cookie cutter company provided website to market your business. The fact is,that only about 3% of the people using these techniques will ever be successful. The odds are stacked against you!
Creating a MLM Lead System using technology.
If you are in network marketing or thinking about getting involved you need to have access to modern marketing tools using internet technology to help you attract prospects to your opportunity. I guarantee you that most people do not have the background or knowledge to expose you to the technology now available. You must go out on your own and find the right marketing tools and create your own system.
Finding the right marketing tools for your MLM business.
I have over the years been exposed to many different lead building systems and some of them are extremely effective if you are willing to pay a few dollars and learn how to use them effectively. There are no short cuts or get rich schemes so you better be prepared to roll up your sleeves and dig in.
You need to learn about domain names, capture pages, autoresponders, email follow up techniques, blogs, video marketing, social networking plus much more. You must find experts that can show you the way with easy to implement training systems.
Two types of training tools to look for.
The first type of training tools involve purchasing and reading valuable ebooks, watching videos and purchasing time saving software. This will help you learn at your own pace and purchase tools that can focus in on specific areas you want to learn. Example: Creating blogs, using youtube, etc...
The second type of training tools that you need to look for are systems that you pay a monthly subscription fee and they not only train you but offer easy to create capture pages, lead tracking, and follow up systems. You should also look for a back end affiliate program that allows you to market their system to others and create additional revenue to you.
What to watch out for.
There are literally thousands of systems and training tools out there so be careful. If someone is claiming that you will have instant riches with no work it is probably a pipe dream. Spend your money wisely and understand that it is not as simple as some people will lead you to believe.
I have created a list of marketing tools that you can review and decide which ones fit your specific needs. Just go to the website I have provided and check them out for yourself at www.mlm-training-store.com
